Most Common way to WAN & LAN Configure.

WAN Configure. (IF you have Mikrotik Router) 1. If ISP has given Static IP: Add this IP in WAN interface, add gateway and DNS. 2. If ISP has given DHCP IP: Add the DHCP Client in WAN. 3. If ISP has given PPPoE user name & Password: Create PPPoE dialler in WAN. LAN Configure: 1.Static IP System: a) IP>Address>+10.0.0.1/24 > Interface =ether2 (when LAN is connect with ether2). b) IP>Firewall> NAT>+Action=Masquerade c) Set your Laptop IP=10.0.0.2, NM:255.255.255.0 GW:10.0.0.1 DNS:8.8.8.8 d) From your Laptop Now check your internet, (Start>Run>CMD>ping google.com).
